Hyecorp advised Inniti of proposals to better manage and maintain the IT environment, with their main priority and concern being that of security. Inniti recommended making a complete overhaul of outdated Windows 7 Machines, as Microsoft no longer provides patches and security updates to machines operating off the Windows 7 OS. Furthermore; Inniti suggested installing a firewall capable of logging data and security protocols such as logging attempted access and notifying Inniti upon the firewall acknowledging the attempted breach.

In addressing Hyecorp’s concerns of managing and maintenance of the IT Environment, Inniti proposes the installation of Inniti’s management software on Hyecorp’s servers and all workstations – allowing Inniti to monitor hardware, provide real-time remote support and mitigate attempted breaches and attacks through deploying anti-virus software. In saying this, Inniti aims to document the network infrastructure and keep a record of all credentials in an encrypted system, of which is accessible and changeable at any point upon request. To further ensure that Hyecorp’s concerns are addressed, each system is to be updated upon successful backup, a reliable and notable backup software is to be installed and configured to an AWS Data Centre, conduct security audits on accounts and access types and install and configure wireless access points.

The details of the extensions will be retrieved via a one-way active directory sync, with the current phone in-dials being ported to a SIP trunk provider; AD Sync has been provided and configured alongside the installation of the new 3CX phone system, of which is accompanied by the introduction of new hardware such as provision conference and desk phones – alongside the implementation of these improvements, Inniti configured the DHCP server for auto-provisioning, as well as providing post-installation support.

Through Inniti’s suggestions and contribution into Hyecorp’s wishes, the Hyecorp network along with the devices of which makeup the network are secured and maintained as Hyecorp had asked, with critical and sensitive information such as credentials used to login to the network and domain being encrypted and the servers going under regular backups to ensure data is protected and data loss is mitigated as much as possible – through Inniti’s management software, employees of Hyecorp are able to contact Inniti’s Support members with any enquiry to receive support in real-time, improving the efficiency of Hyecorp’s employees being able to gain access to support in troubleshooting and solving enquiries upon request.
